It's official! Madonna is attempting to adopt a 4-year-old girl from Malawi - Mercy James is her name. However, yet again controversy follows the star as some of the locals think Madonna is using her star status to bump Malawian adoption rules. TUT TUT.

Madonna will find out on Friday whether she can take home Mercy or not!

I wonder how many more adoptions will she partake in? hmmmm
